Towards a Ton a Day

It’s one thing working a kiln or two to try and maximise it’s quality and return, but quite another to get 4 going at the same time. Throw in continuous (and welcome) rain in Colana, Matatiele, roads so muddy that the donkeys can’t navigate it (hence the emergency tractor), and the fact that charcoal and rain are not happy bedfellows, and you have the complex set of variables that Bongi and her team are navigating today to produce their first full ton of Restuarant/Braai grade in one day.

Will keep you posted as to the success of the day!
